First lets go over that perfect outfit. It is important to layer and layer well. Right now I am nursing our baby, so when I put together outfits, I make sure that the outfit is nursing friendly. I always choose a v neck or a scoop neckline for my top, that way I do not have to untuck or pull out my top. These are a few of my personal favorites:
The next step is layering with comfort. I personally love this button cardigan, they are super soft and you can use it as a nursing cover. You can also opt for the fitted cardigan, which is also super soft to the touch.
I found this scarf/nursing cover on the internet and decided to make my own. If you do not feel like making it (which is usually the case for me) then you can purchase it by clicking on the photo. You can also get the measurements of the scarf if you want to find your own fabric and make your own. It was super easy and just involved sewing a line. If I can do it, you can too!
If anyone knows me, they know I LIVE in jeggings. Why you ask? For two reasons: I cannot fit into my regular jeans quite just yet and they are just SO dang comfortable. When I think of traveling, I never think of hard fabric up against my skin, like denim. Our jeggings come in different styles and colors. They even have functional pockets, SCORE! If you are looking for a more dressier pants but with the same comfort as jeggings, you can check out these by Betabrand. They offer different colors so you can grab a few pairs to mix and match with your wardrobe. I usually find black is the best option, since it goes with just about anything in my closet.
Did you know that you can apply to be put on the TSA PreCheck list? Having this has been life changing as well. I do not have to remove my shoes, take out my laptop or even remove my coat. Here is a link to apply to be put on the list.
What are some of your travel tips? I would love to hear them.
